INSPIRATION BEHIND THE BOOK

With a background in Fashion Design, Amanda wanted to find a fashion based ABC book for her daughter Stella while teaching her to read. After months of searching, she couldn’t find one, so she decided to draw one herself because she couldn’t be the only one who wanted one. After printing a copy of “F is for Fashion”, everyone she knew asked to order one. She showed her book to Neiman Marcus, who requested an exclusive edition, and in the first two months sold over 1200 copies.

Her mission was to make a book that had basic fashion based vocabulary, along with some that were more challenging. The book had exceeded her wildest expectations and has led to opportunities to meet fashion lovers of all ages during her book signings that have taken her as far as Turks & Caicos.
