Cornell Museum Holiday Tree
With 2020 being a very hard year, we were all in need of an extra dose of joy! It was such an honor to be asked by the Cornell Museum to create a “joyful” holiday tree! Standing 16 feet tall, able to be seen on two stories all the way around and 6 feet wide at the base, I completely covered an evergreen tree with colorful, sparkly ornaments and decorations.
From pom pom covered balls, handmade tassels, and 100 yards of tulle fabric, every single inch of the tree was covered.
Art Couture at Cornell Museum
Having an exhibition of my couture gowns in a museum was an opportunity beyond my wildest dreams! As a fashion designer, we do not often get the opportunity to be able to show our work in that kind of a setting, and it was an experience that I will be grateful for always!
